Working to one's potential

Throughout life you're always going to face struggles, but there's nothing like the feeling of fight through a battle and comming out on top. Every athlete will face struggles whether it's injury or a mental battle about strategy, but through the struggles you become a stronger person and a better athlete. I have had many difficulties in my short career of running so far, and even though it's hard to push through them I got a glimpse of how my hard work has paid off this past weekend. The feeling of acomplishment is overwhelming and exciting when I think about how far my dedication may take me, that is why I do not understand how some people can go through their entire lives not pushing themselves to be all that they can be.

  1. Yea i know what you mean.. Ive have been playing football for seven years and the one thing that all of my coaches emphasize is working as hard as you can and working to your potential. It has become a part of me now and i try to exercise the philosophy everyday.
